If you look close you can see the smoke under the clouds.. If you are not aware there is a 1600 acre brush fire in the Everglades. This morning when we left for baseball (which didn't go so well..we lost) there were ashes on the hood of my car. It's a different world down here when it comes to things like this. Back home we get so much rain you can't stand it but here this time of year there is NONE...
Kolby's class is going on a field trip to the Everglades in a few week so they have been learning about all the animals that live there. So he asked me yesterday what would happen to all the animals that live in that 1600 acres that is now burning. It's so sad. And to think that most of these fires are started by people not caring and doing stupid careless things.. We saw first hand the other night on our car ride home from baseball. The car next to us threw a still burning cigarette out of its window. If it would have landed in the medein it would have instantly started a fire. Last year Anthony saw someone do the same thing and it did start a fire. Some other cars stopped and threw water on it before it spread.
We took the kids for ice cream and to the Pier and guess what we saw!!

Did I mention I am in LOVE with my camera!!
